Children from Yuk Yu Kindergarten Likas participated in the "Children's Coloring Competition" as part of the 2026 Chinese New Year Dragons, Unicorn & Lion Dance Festival organized by the Sabah Kota Kinabalu Chinese Association Federation.
Many children from our kindergarten actively participated in the activity. Through the coloring competition, the children unleashed their creativity and imagination in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the Lunar New Year, an important traditional festival of the Chinese nation, and personally experiencing the profound heritage of Chinese culture and the strong festive atmosphere of the New Year.
During the activity, the children not only demonstrated their focus and artistic expression, but also learned the significance of traditional culture in practice and gained valuable learning experience.
Congratulations to all the award-winning children! Your hard work and dedication deserve recognition and praise. At the same time, we encourage the children who didn't win to not be discouraged; participation is growth, and trying is progress.
