Yuk Yu Kindergarten Likas held a grand Open Day on August 23rd, attracting a lively crowd of parents and children. The event was officiated by YB Dato' Phoong Jin Zhe, who also released a video showcasing the kindergarten's future development, unveiling the blueprint for the new school building.
The event opened with a speech by School Chairman Mr. Johnny Yong thanking the community for their long-term support. He emphasized that education requires a collaborative effort between Family and school to foster continuous progress and encourage children's growth. He also thanked YB Dato' Phoong Jin Zhe for funding the installation of aluminum blinds in classrooms, providing a comfortable learning environment for the children. He also encouraged the teaching team to continue upholding the principles of high-quality education. YB Dato' Phoong Jin Zhe then spoke highly of Yuk Yu Kindergarten's efforts and contributions to education, and pledged his continued support for the kindergarten's future development, ensuring that children thrive in a better environment.
Mr. Jacky Wong, a parent representative, also shared his personal experiences. He highly endorsed the kindergarten's educational philosophy and the dedication of the teaching team. He believes that Yuk Yu focuses not only on academic enlightenment but also on character cultivation and all-round development. He encouraged more parents to choose Yuk Yu with confidence, as it provides an optimal environment for children to grow happily and develop healthily.

Children's Health Talk: With the theme of "Parent-child reading, language development, healthy growth", speech therapists and specialists are invited to share with parents the importance of parent-child reading and the key to improving children's immunity, and provide free children's health checks.
Fun game booths: Children had a lot of fun during the Games.
Parent-child Photobooth: Parents and children can take photos together to record precious moments.
Food stalls: Ice cream and various snacks are very popular, adding to the warm atmosphere of the event.
National Day Creative Fashion Show: Parents and children worked together to design eco-friendly clothing, showcasing patriotic themes and creative ideas, winning rounds of applause.
Creative Learning Workshop: Integrating STEM principles to inspire children’s spirit of exploration and creativity.
